COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course requires students to critically think and tackle issues, evading irrational behavior and thought which ultimately initiates in creating problems and miscommunications .It thus, provides effective methods of communication and dialogue when dealing with others in various fields of life .Students are required to work in groups, discuss parts of the course, write reports on each, role play at times to explain each part.
COURSE OBJECTIVE:

A statement of what the students will know and be able to do as the result of learning.

Students will benefit from reading different books, researching references, writing reports, critically thinking and analyzing what they read; and finally, give presentations that will prepare them to the next step in their career (Lane 463).

Students will demonstrate and improve their learning ability as they read and write reports, give presentations, and hand in a resume. In class, they will benefit through participating in groups and discussing and writing a joined summery of their readings. They are also required to cover the proposed readings and writing reports on each part and encouraged to search for critical essays and books to support their point of view. By the end of this course students’ ability to critically think, read, analyze and even write will drastically improve.

A well -written professional résumé plus a cover letter. 10%

A presentation + a report 20% on a book relating to self-improvement (from the list given, it has to approved by the instructor)

Two presentation 20% (5-7 minutes each -the topic has to be approved by the instructor)

Two translated works. 20% (details will be given in class)

Interview by the instructor for a specified job 10%
